Gainesville Kitchen and Wine Room Renovation

The kitchen is the heart of the home for this busy family and the function of their existing kitchen wasn’t working for how they wanted to live. We listened to their needs and created a beautiful space where they can convene, live and work. Removing a wall between the kitchen and breakfast room opened up the space and let the light in!

We also took the infrequently used sunroom and created a dining area with motorized shades to make the functional use of all the shades easy and seamless. It’s all about function for this family!

Lastly, the formal dining room was rarely used so we created an amazing wine room that they now use daily. And to say it’s just a wine room is probably selling it short – the counter area doubles as a work station for when the homeowner needs to take care of business. We also built a coffee and tea bar on the wall opposite the wine wall for all members of the family to use. John Strauss created an amazing live-edge bar table as a focal point for the room for casual sipping and entertaining.

We are currently working on additional projects for them that will be added to our portfolio in the near future.
