Next Level Home Bourbon Bar in 3,2,1…

Is there anything better than unwinding after a busy day with a great drink? Even better if it’s bourbon. We’ve been lucky to work with clients who take their bourbon seriously—so much so that they’ve asked us to design a bar (or two!) for their sipping pleasure.

For us, creating these stylish watering holes is all about designing a curated space where casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike can pour a sophisticated drink in a setting that feels as good as it looks.

Location is Key!

Real estate is everything when selecting the right space for your bourbon bar—whether it’s a built-in nook or a bar cart. In this Virginia Beach home, we designed a custom-built niche featuring black cabinetry with gold accents, warm oak shelves and an antique mirror backdrop to create a modern yet timeless design. The mirror adds just the right amount of depth and reflection, making the space feel a bit more open and inviting.

Stock it Up!

A great bourbon bar starts with a thoughtfully curated collection. We always recommend a mix of high-quality bourbons—everyday favorites, a few unique ryes and a special bottle or two for times you need to celebrate, or times you just want to treat yo’self. Or, let’s face it, just to show off. Next, invest in glassware, tasting snifters and essential bar tools for stirring, shaking and sipping in style.
