After a VERY long break (like, 6 years or so) from the blogging world we’ve decided to give it a go once again. This time around we’re not going to try to be overachievers and blog everyday like we did before. We’re going to take it slow and steady- 2-4 posts a month. My hats off to all of those who can blog daily AND run a successful biz! It’s a recipe for burn-out in my world, which is always teetering on the edge of burn-out already. We want to keep you in the loop of all that’s going on in our world. Share the good, bad, and ugly (hopefully there will be very little of the latter). So, let’s just hop into it, shall we?
Our Before and After: Bethesda Nursery:
We were so excited when a lovely young mom-to-be from Bethesda, MD. contacted us to help her transform her current guest room into a nursery for her first bundle of joy. Our client was a typical glowing expectant mom and so excited to tackle this project. There was definitely a dad-to-be in this scenario, but he knew best to let his beautiful bride tackle this project. 😉
Take a look at where we started:
Simple, square room that was currently being used as a guest room.
We knew our client was hoping for a sweet, feminine, simple space. This is the concept that we put together for her. We changed a couple of things (light fixture and art) as we moved along towards the finish line, but all in all this was the plan.
And, this is our beautiful finished space! So sweet, right?
